A invasão da Reitoria da USP: até quando vamos nos deixar levar pela minoria truculenta?

Esperei pela ação da Polícia de SP na desocupação da Reitoria (que foi realizada hoje de madrugada, sem feridos e com sucesso) para registrar minha opinião sobre os últimos acontecimentos na Universidade de São Paulo.
Espero que ainda se possa ter liberdade de emitir opinião, mesmo que se vá contra ao que um grupo chama (equivocadamente) de liberdade acadêmica e defesa da democracia e da universidade pública. Por isso, vou emitir minha opinião:
Penso que não há mais como sustentar os discursos estudantis (e político-partidários) de que campus não é local de polícia e que invasão de prédios públicos (e sua degradação) não se configura crime por ser parte da ação de pessoas que, em tese, estão fazendo movimentos reivindicatórios. No caso da USP reivindicando o quê? O direito de usar drogas ilícitas sem serem “perturbadas” pelo poder constitucionalmente instituído para garantir a ordem e o cumprimento da lei?
Pelo que se sabe e defende em todo país desenvolvido, campus universitário não é local livre da lei, nem deve servir de abrigo para que atos indevidos, ou criminosos sejam cometidos para que seus executores fiquem fora do alcance da justiça.
O que mais me incomoda neste tipo de movimento é que (e eu acredito piamente nisso!) ele está longe de representar a maioria do pensamento dos próprios alunos e demais integrantes da comunidade uspiana. É sempre o mesmo grupelho, gritando palavras de ordem, atrapalhando ou impedindo de trabalhar ou estudar quem também tem o legítimo direito de não aderir.
Onde está a voz de quem não concorda com isso? Ninguém quer ser “politicamente incorreto” e encabeçar um movimento contrário a esses atos que não são voltados à melhoria da educação superior, mas aos interesses de uma ínfima parcela da USP que levanta bandeiras em desuso em todo resto do mundo? Quem tem medo de ir contra isso tudo e ser taxado de “repressor ou membro da direita”, como se ainda estivéssemos na ditadura e como se ser de esquerda fosse somente defender qualquer coisa que quem se diz de esquerda resolve fazer?
O silêncio do restante da USP não está ficando eloquente? Ou a maioria na verdade (para meu desconsolo) se esconde porque concorda com essa invasão absurda, mas só não está disposta a passar pelo desconforto deste tipo de invasão, ou correr o risco de ser processada ou presa e ter a imagem maculada?
A sociedade deve apoiar esses atos, em que todos podem fazer o que bem entendem e ninguém sofre as consequências? Isso é autonomia universitária, liberdade acadêmica ou democracia? Não, não é!
Por que então não votar democraticamente para deixar claro que um grupo minoritário não tem o direito de tomar atitudes contrárias ao que deseja a maioria? Não é isso que é democracia?
Como fica a imagem da USP diante da sociedade quando a única voz que se ouve (inclusive com acesso privilegiado aos jornais que tem nas suas redações vários ex-alunos que pensam como esses “revoltosos”) é a voz dos invasores?
Tenho visto dezenas de pessoas chocadas que já estão comentando como é que alunos que custam fortunas aos cofres públicos (e aos nossos bolsos), privilegiados que são por estudar na melhor universidade da América do Sul (inclusive de graça e muitos com apoio de moradia e alimentação) se sentem no direito de quebrar o patrimônio público e achar isso natural, se revoltando quando a justiça tenta fazer o seu papel e se mostrando indignadas com tudo o que ocorreu até aqui. É essa a mensagem da USP à sociedade?
Espero que aqueles que amam a USP, que tenham verdadeira coragem intelectual e saibam separar o joio do trigo decidam levantar a voz contra este repetitivo ato de violência contra os direitos de quem não empenha esse tipo de bandeira.
