Um tributo à minha mãe!

Ser mãe, o que posso fazer pela minha mãe, quando a idade chega.
Conheço muita gente que adora suas mães. Principalmente quando elas fazem o que queremos, ou nos ajudam como podem carregando grande parte do fardo dos filhos – mesmo quando estes deveriam já tomar conta de suas próprias vidas – fazendo com que elas acabem por postergar seu merecido descanso e abrir mão de sua qualidade de vida.
Também conheço muitos filhos que só dão valor às mães quando estas estão velhinhas e incapazes de aproveitar o prazer do carinho sincero e da admiração merecida.
Amo minha mãe e mais do que isso me sinto extremamente comprometida com sua vida, sua proteção e tudo que possa poupá-la de esforços inúteis e preocupações indevidas.
No meu caso específico, tenho em minha mãe uma pessoa a quem admiro, respeito e faço de tudo para tornar a vida dela melhor, pois ela fez de mim uma pessoa melhor e esteve ao meu lado, com seu senso de justiça, disponibilidade e carinho, em todas as ocasiões que me foram necessárias a sua força, a sua honestidade e a sua isenção.
Sempre digo que não faço muito drama ligando dezenas de vezes para marcar presença (tem gente que faz isso, mas foge das responsabilidades…) ou repassando a ela meus problemas que seriam apenas motivo de aflição. Ao contrário, só penso em como poupá-la de trabalho, proporcionar-lhe lazer e diversão e ajudar utilizando os recursos que tenho e meus cuidados para facilitar a vida dela e para ela! Também batemos longos e cúmplices papos!
Além do amor, (que não precisa ser cego aos defeitos, mas que sabe o que são pecadilhos e não pecados mortais) tenho por ela respeito como pessoa, como mulher e profissional e gostaria que meu filho tivesse por mim pelo menos a metade da admiração, amor e consciência da importância dela em minha vida em relação ao que eu represento para ele.
Para isso, tenho me esforçado muito, mas o caminho é longo.
